The Office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions was established on 1 August 1998, in terms of section 179 (1) of the Constitution. The NPA comprises the National Director, who is the head of the Office and manages the Office; Directors of Public Prosecutions; Investigating Directors and Special Directors; other members of the prosecuting authority appointed at or assigned to the Office; and members of the administrative staff at the Office.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Competency in acting independently, professionally, accountably, and with credibility
- Basic numeracy and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Knowledge
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Experience in financial accounting (supplier payments, S&T and cellphone claims)
- Familiarity with PERSAL, BAS, or LOGIS systems
Key Duties
- Support financial accounting functions
- Manage payment registers and verify invoice accuracy
- Capture and process supplier payments including subsistence & travel (S&T) and cellphone claims
- Scan and file payment records and financial documents
- Track supplier payments
- Provide support to auditors and handle payment queries
