City of Johannesburg
This internship is aimed at providing on-the-job exposure to qualifying students who need practical experience to complete their studies or as part of their career development. The programme is open to candidates who have never participated in an internship programme before (except where the internship was not relevant to their course of study).
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 (NQF level 4).
- National Diploma in Financial Administration or Accounting (NQF level 6) – minimum 360 credits.
- Basic MS Office Suite skills.
- English language proficiency (reading and writing).
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg.
Key Learning Areas
- Ensure procurement aligns with Supply Chain practices, policies, and MFMA requirements.
- Manage expenditure and reporting with confidentiality, control, and transparency.
- Perform office administration and document management functions.
- Monitor and manage the needs of the Finance Unit.
